Here is how I would spend New Year's Eve in Paris....

In celebration of their 160 year anniversary, Paris’ no. 1 luxury department store recently opened its very own wine cellar, La Cave.  With more than 3,000 labels and 200,000 bottles recommended by their 14 sommeliers, this is the ideal spot to purchase your bottle of champagne to ring in the new year.

Designed by no other than the king’s architect in 1737, the ancient Hotel Biron was converted in 1919 into a quiet, secluded museum housing some 30,000+ creations by Auguste Rodin.  Walk through the meticulously manicured gardens, stop for a croissant at the café, and admire the sensual beauty of this master’s sculptures.

Situated opposite Les Jardins Tuileries is the best place to get hot chocolate, Angelina’s.  It’s literally like drinking liquid chocolate.
Oh and their maccarons won’t disappoint, either.

I never skip Colette – not just because it is Paris’ beacon of fashion, but also because of their amazing music listening station where you can sample some of the coolest 3,000+ tracks, hand-picked from around the world.

Yes, he literally wrote the book on the Little Black Dress.  This is the real deal.  Vintage.  Haute Couture.  Chanel.  Balenciaga.  Balmain.  It’s there, waiting for you.  By appointment only, though.

This historic landmark of Paris was built in the 17th century and officially became a restaurant in 1825.  Since its opening the restaurant has welcomed a chic clientele including actors, models, designers, celebrities, politicians and locals.  It was also shot in the Jack Nicholson & Diane Keaton movie, As Good As It Gets.   A place to see and be seen.

A quick venture to this bustling restaurant in Le Marais will be sure to get the energy up.  Their yummy foie gras is one of many tasty dishes on their Prix Fixe for New Year's Eve.

The Louvre is one of the most well lit biuldings in all of Paris.  Wander through the halls, you might stumble upon a saxophonist whose lonely notes echo under the arcades.
From the Louvre, head across the Seine on Le Pont Des Arts.  For good luck, put a lock on the bridge and make a wish.
Don't forget to throw the keys into the river.
Time to make a toast!
