I am never one to promote smoking, but as someone who is married to a smoker (*sigh*) I am always looking for ways to make the smoking more pleasurable -- for me. One way is to insist on using beautiful ashtrays, and this one by renowned Brooklyn-based glass blower, Lindsey Adelman, is no exception. Gathered along the coast of Maine, the mussel shells are then electroplated with 18k gold in their Brooklyn studio.
