Recently refreshed by Joseph Dirand, located in an old railway building in the 16th is Le Flandrin. The brasserie, still operated by the original Malafosse family who opened this locale in 1932, is now a modernized Art Deco interior of understated opulence, with geometric patterned
floors and plush mustard velvet seats. The lounge, an ode to Czech cubism, features black lacquered wood
paneling, a smoky mirrored ceiling and a bar topped with gold and white calacatta marble.
The menu has also received an update from new chef Olivier Deni which includes Vietnamese spring rolls, lobster rolls and mac & cheese. Le sigh.
