In 2011, Melissa Syemour -- part New Yorker / part French / part Californian -- launched Seymour Projects, a not-for-profit organization
committed to helping individuals cultivate self-expression by
encouraging them to find a balance between technology and inner exploration. In January of this year, her project evolved into a physical space called SEYMOUR+ providing patrons with a physical space to disconnect from technology and other external
distractions. The main purpose: to reconnect with their imagination and
intuition — a tech-free spa for the mind, if you will.
