A short while ago I wrote about the talented Mr Daniel Aristizabel and his cosmic eggs in La Monda. Now it seems that Aristizabel is having a Sesame Street moment with a collection of commercial products that very creatively and surreptitiously illustrate a letter of the alphabet. For a more than reasonable price range of $19 - $32, you can purchase an Aristizabel original expression of your favorite letter. When art and eduction make a perfect match, one must celebrate.

A group of restaurateurs have opened an affordable lobster joint in the Marais. Combining the decadence of Parisian seafood with more familial lobster restaurants from the Northeast, USA, friends Damien Borjesson, Remy Bougenaux, Vivien Mathieu, and Louis Kerveillant opened Les Pinces, a place where you can find sumptuous, fresh lobster served by a bilingual staff. The concept is simple: for 25 Euros, you have the choice of three plats -- 1) a one-pound broiled lobster, 2) a lobster roll, or 3) a steak. Each dish comes accompanied with a house salad, homemade fries, and creamy herb mayonnaise. Pinch me, please.

Not only are these hand-carved moonstone pendant necklaces yummy, they also possess some unworldy powers. Apparently the moonstone carries energy stimulating perception, vision and dream work, and allows you to fully realize and embrace your natural gift. Assuming you have a gift, of course.

Just stumbled upon this on Pinterest as of late and fell head over mini-heels in love with this web-zine/ surf shop. When I got to their homepage and scrolled down to their LOVES section, it was as if they had rummaged through my mood board and reposted all of the stuff that I, well, love. Started in 2012 as a magazine, MeetMinnie is now an online shop offering very cool things like tees and totes in my perennial favorite pallette: black and cream.
An art gallery located in the historical center of Rome, Sacripante is devoted to the Lowbrow movement under the artistic direction by Rossana Calbi and Giulia Piccioni. Rather than the typical white wall presentation, the space features plastered walls, a vaulted ceiling, Art Deco furnishings, and a moody Baroque attitude. Decked out with a full bar and velvet seating, this place is starting to sound a lot like home.

Newly revamped apartment in the Trocadéro neighborhood of Paris by renowned designer François Champsaur. Building upon the space's existing architecture and character, Champsaur balanced his drama with utility by defining the various rooms through a series of sculptural partitions. The result is a monumental, gallery-like space.
With views of the Tour Eiffel and the Arche de Tromphe, this quintessential Parisian hotel is perfectly situated on Avenue Kléber in a late 19th century Haussmanian building. It first opened in 1908 as one of Paris’ leading “grands hotels” then after laying dormant for two decades, this architectural gem was meticulously restored and reopened as The Peninsula Paris. In the evening, the rooftop L’Oiseau Blanc restaurant terrace affords 360-degree views of the French capital’s iconic monuments.
